Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring that guests feel welcomed and served with love and care during the two services. Each volunteer will have specific responsibilities to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Donut Station Volunteer

Staff Required: 1 person per service

Responsibilities:



Arrive early to set up the donut station, ensuring it is clean and well stocked.


 Greet guests warmly as they arrive, making them feel welcome and valued.


     
Hand out fresh donuts, offering a variety of options to guests.


      
Engage in light conversation with attendees to encourage fellowship.

Cash Register Volunteers

Staff Required: 2 people per service



Responsibilities:


      
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, employing a friendly demeanor.


      
Run the cash register, processing payments.      Assist guests with any questions about menu items, including suggestions for pairings.


      
Write orders clearly on cups and stick them on securely to avoid mixups.


      
Support the Donut Station and Barista volunteers by helping with overflow or busy periods.


      
Keep track of inventory to inform the team about the need for replenishment.

Barista Volunteers

Staff Required: 2 people per service


    
Responsibilities:


      
Arrive early to set up the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is clean and operational.


      
Prepare espresso drinks to order, including coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and any specialty beverages.


      
Ensure consistency in drink quality and presentation, using appropriate serving techniques.


      
Communicate efficiently with the cash register team to ensure timely order fulfillment.


      
Engage with guests, offering recommendations and being attentive to their needs.


      
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station throughout the service.


      
Prepare for any special events or menu changes by discussing options with the café coordinator.
